From the Bench: September 2018

Hi there! It’s hard to believe that summer is almost over. We may not see a change of seasons like our friends up North, but at the very least the air seems a little lighter. Even if it’s only wishful thinking… This month we take a hard look at how pollution and politics affect Florida’s coastline on pg. 8. We’re excited to introduce a new column; Maureen McDole, founder of Keep St. Pete Lit, brings us Just a thought on pg. 10. And get to know Fire Chief James Dean Large in this month’s People of St. Pete on pg 26. Be on the lookout next month for limited edition t-shirts designed by our very own illustrator, Erik Jasek, to benefit CASA.
