Help I Support the Girls – Tampa Bay

I Support the Girls collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity. A woman shouldn’t have to choose between feeding herself and her health. Every woman should have the ability to maintain her dignity. To help support their mission:

  • Donate Bras (all types – new or gently used), New Underwear, Feminine Hygiene Items, Makeup bags, makeup, fingernail polish, etc., to The Littlest Trunk at 6260 4th Street N.
  • Purchase Items on their Amazon Wish List by visiting bit.ly/i-support-the-girls-tampa-bay
  • Volunteer to conduct drives and collections Connect with ‘I Support the Girls – Tampa Bay’ on Facebook, or email [email protected] to get involved.

Donate Blood or Platelets at a OneBlood Donor Center

Did you know one in three of us will need a blood transfusion? A single-car accident victim can require 100 pints of blood. When you donate blood, you are helping other people and may also reduce your risk of having a heart attack and developing cancer. Donating blood can also reveal potential health problems, and it can help your liver stay healthy!

Donors will receive a wellness checkup, including a COVID-19 antibody test, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening.

Please DO NOT present to donate if you have a fever or experiencing flu-like symptoms. Masks are required. Appointments are encouraged. To schedule visit www.oneblood.org/donate-now/.
