From the Bench: January 2020

Happy 20’s, St. Pete! A wise professor once said, “a good leader is a bridge builder.” We would take this a step further and say that being a good neighbor, teacher, and friend is rooted in building bridges as well. Our resolution for 2020 is to build as many bridges as we can. Will you join us?

On that note, the future is bright and this issue is packed. Before we dig in, we’d like to congratulate Radius Church (see their ad on pg. 30), all of our wonderful readers, and community sponsors who volunteered their time and resources to help feed 1,500 people in need over the holidays. It’s because of groups like Radius, and readers like you, that St. Pete is such a special place to live, work, and play. What’s your favorite volunteer event or project? We’d love to hear about it. We may even feature it in an upcoming story. Email [email protected].

This month we’re taking a closer look at St. Pete pathways, thinking local first, and trying to find our green thumb. We hope these stories inspire you to dream big, and save water.

To our readers who sent us holiday cards—you made our year. Thanks for reading GBM and supporting our community.
