From the Bench: April 2022

And just like that, it’s April! Earth day is on the 22nd, and in case you weren’t aware — the city has a couple of conservation programs that you might want to take advantage of: Rainwater Guardian Workshops and Sprinkler System Checkups. Both are free. After completing the Guardian Workshop, participants will be eligible for a free rain barrel from the city. For virtual class times, visit stpete.org/residents/ sustainability/water_conservation/resources.php. To apply for a sprinkler system checkup, email [email protected].

This month, you can find us in Demens Park watching Footloose by American Stage. Also in this issue, a chat with Jeff Schorr, owner of the Craftsman House and St. Pete preservation advocate. Explore parks by the Bay. And get your fill of what’s on the horizon for St. Pete in Downtown Developments. Plus plenty of events you won’t want to miss!

Till next time, Ashley & Tony
