From the Bench

Last month, it was an honor and a privilege to share our green bench story at the Historic Manhattan Casino. If you missed it, you can find the video on the Florida Holocaust Museum’s (FHM) Facebook page. Special thanks to Terri Lipsey Scott, The Carter G. Woodson African American Museum and the FHM for organizing the event.

This month is Women’s History Month, so we’re taking a closer look at the many roles women played throughout World War II. Their efforts paved the way for new possibilities for generations to come.

We’re excited to share with you plans for the new pier park. “The most important local organization you’ve never heard of ”. And everything else in between.

Please remind your friends, family, co-workers, people you see on the street — it’s time for the U.S. census survey. If you haven’t received a packet yet, you will soon. Make St. Pete count! The results of the 2020 Census will affect community funding, congressional representation, and more. For more info, visit 2020census.gov.

Till next time, Ashley & Tony
