Nails on Ninth: Natural Products, Healthy Nails, Beautiful Results

After eight years working for other nail salons, Thuy Le (or Leah as her clients call her) knew that she was ready to step out on her own. Those years of experience honed her skills and helped her shape a plan for her own business. She envisioned a spa-like salon that offered healthy “all natural and organic” products and services where clients could relax in a calm soothing space. In short, she wanted (as she told me) “to do it my way.” In October of 2018, she achieved that vision when she opened Nails on Ninth.

Enter and Relax

You’ll notice the difference as soon as you walk in the door. No blaring televisions adorn the walls. The music is low and soothing instead of loud and jarring. As a whole, the décor suggests a feeling of calm. A palette of soothing earth colors surrounds and welcomes you. The furniture, from the waiting area to the manicure and pedicure chairs, is comfortable and cushioned. Everything about the salon’s ambiance encourages relaxation, including the presence of Leah and her staff. Their friendly and professional approach lets clients know immediately that they are in good hands.

Natural Products & Full Service

Once a client is relaxed, then they can take advantage of Nails on Ninth’s full menu of treatments. For your nails, they offer various levels of manicure and pedicure services, as well as nail enhancements and SNS dipping powders. And they always have the most upto- date color collections. So, no matter what the season, if a client is looking for that fun new color, Nails on Ninth has it! Customers also can be confident in the knowledge that Nails on Ninth products are “all natural and organic” and that they follow the strictest safety codes. The salon uses an autoclave to disinfect their reusable tools and things that can’t be sterilized (like buffers and pumice stones) are never reused. The salon also provides a wide variety of face and body waxing options.

“Come for the natural products, come back for the people”

According the salon, their use of vegan-friendly products often initially attracts new customers, but it’s Leah and her staff that keep them coming back. Clients, both men and women, appreciate the friendly professional service and the comfortable space. They feel welcomed while they are at the salon and they feel good with the results when they leave. If you’d like to experience Nails on Ninth for yourself, give them a call at 727-289-9300 to make an appointment. Conveniently located on North Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street (3214 Ninth Street N), they are open from 9:30am to 7pm, Monday through Friday, and from 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
