From the Bench: March 2022

Happy March! Virgina Woolf said it best: “For most of history, Anonymous was a woman”. Which is why we are celebrating Women’s History Month. From the women’s group that banded together for the first sidewalk in St. Pete to those making history today—we salute you!

With Spring just around the corner, our events calendar is more packed then it’s ever been. After the last two years of cancellations and postponements, it’s really a joy to see. To submit your event, visit greenbenchmonthly.com/events.

With the change of seasons Clothes to Kids is in need of donations. Specifically: boys’ and girls’ pants, shorts, tops both short and long-sleeved, dresses and shoes. Each year Clothes To Kids clothes more than 11,000 low-income and in crisis school children, PreK-4 to 12th grade for FREE. For more info visit www.clothestokids.org.
