From the Bench: October 2017

Hi, again. Now that it’s fall’ish and hurricane season is almost over… some of our favorite events are back! Our calendar is packed this issue with lots of local favorites you won’t want to miss. Like Pathfinder’s, now FREE, Outdoor Climb. Make sure to check it out.

On our minds this month: Helping Radius raise donations and recruit volunteers for their Annual Thanksgiving Drive. Speaking of Holidays being right around the corner, Chef Roberta Massetti of Mangia Con Gusto is offering special pricing for November bookings. If you decide to host this year, Tampa Bay Furnishings has lots of tips for ways to spruce up your dining room. We’ve also got BIG plans brewing with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint available at Buster’s Antiques. More on how that turns out later… And cats! So many cats at Save Our Strays need a home! If you have time and space to share with a new best friend, please consider adoption. We’re hiring business writers. To apply, send two (2) writing samples to [email protected]. And last but not least, we have tickets to give away to The Florida Orchestra! Tell us what you love most about St. Pete—we’ll give five lucky readers each a pair of tickets. Send your St. Pete love to [email protected] or PO Box 76095, St. Petersburg, FL 33734.

Till next time,
